Let’s be real with each other: the 2014-15 LA Kings were a big disappointment. The way the organization has handled off-ice problems has been mostly frustrating, and the team fell short on the ice. Our bud Shana Naomi Krochmal joins us to help vent, and dig into why the thrill is gone for us with Dean Lombardi. Shana also shares her run-in with Bailey and challenging the Kings to step up for LA Pride. (There’s also a handy Storify about it!)

Then, after knocking the Kings down and touching on all the summer news so far (Lucic! Richards! Williams, oh my!), we find and tug on all the silver linings. This season has made us mad and broken our hearts in ways, but by the end we figure out why we’re still here.
