PODCAST 005: Going Full Kopitar

Last night, we recorded to praise and lament the highs and lows of the LA Kings’ two games this week. Losing to the Calgary Flames is so unacceptable that one of us abused the other’s text messages, raging. Seeing the Kings rally to beat the Coyotes 7-4, however? Acceptable! Plus, coach Darryl Sutter manages to clown Kings left-wingers and Alec Martinez simultaneously, a couple centermen break their goalless streaks, and there’s some time dedicated to sizing up whether it’s time to manage expectations for Jonathan Quick.

One time Richards also went off about fighting after defending Kopitar’s honor. And it’s true that he talked Carter’s ear off about Kopitar before Carter was traded to LA.
