Fleetwood Mac – Hard Feelings
It’s Jeff Carter’s first time back in Philly, so expect boo’s galore and everyone griping about him not scoring on a half open net during Game 6 of the SCF in 2010 to force a Game 7. Excuse me while I sit here and laugh because he score the Cup-clinching goal in Game 6 for the Kings. Excuse me while I laugh FOREVER.
While Jeff graced the Philly beat reporters with his toothless presence, one little monster didn’t do the same, and it’s so damn great.
Jeff Carter speaks to media about his return to Philly but Mike Richards does not. Unhappy Phila media corps

Richards blows off reporters. Sneaks out while 20 reporters waited by his locker for 15 mins.

You keep being you Richie!
Adele – Rolling in the Deep
The Kings chances should be bolstered by the fact that their depth forwards have woken up a bit from their slump, and are starting to produce again. Well, hopefully. In the game against the Panthers, Mike Richards scored his 1st goal in 7 games. This doesn’t sound so great, but considering he’s scored 3 of his 10 goals in the 12 games after the Olympic Break, I’ll take it.
Trevor Lewis also snagged 2 points in the last game, including a goal which is basically like seeing a unicorn in the wild.
Trevor Lewis has tied his career-high with five goals (set last season).

For as much flack as we give him, joke’s on us because Trevor Lewis is actually doing great for him?
One thing that I won’t end in a question mark is that the Kings’ rookies, Tanner Pearson and Tyler Toffoli have been fantastic, Pearson especially. Both seem to be fitting in even better with the team, and we can only hope that that translates to more goals.
Two Door Cinema Club – Something Good Can Work
The Kings have been a much more effective team in these past few games, but this Flyers team will definitely be a test of how well they’re meshing. Both teams are poised to be on their way to the playoffs, but nothing is set in stone, as there are many teams in both divisions nipping at their heels.
The Kings are going strong with two great wins to end their homestand on a good note, but the Flyers are having their own stretch of good fortune as they ride in to tonight’s game with a 5 game win streak. Both are big, physical teams trying to scoop up as many wins as possible to solidify their playoff spot, and with some personal history to boot, so all in all, it should be a great game.
