Tegan & Sara – Where Does the Good Go

This Pacific Division matchup hasn’t turned out so well for the Kings here. What should have been a pretty breezy last month of play has actually been an annoying and boring stretch of games with the Kings struggling. Besides the shutout that clinched the playoffs, it’s been close one-goal games that the Kings just can’t manage to win.

 Eve – Who’s That Girl?

One thing in the Kings’ favor is that they’re getting some more secondary scoring from players that have been quiet as of late. Slava Voynov, hadn’t had a goal in 60 games, now has 3 points (1G, 2A) in the last 2 games. Dwight King missed a few games with an injury, but he came right back and scored a goal and reminded us all of DwightFace.

Kelly Clarkson – Don’t Waste Your Time

Let’s see how much this game matters. The Oilers aren’t making it into the postseason. The Kings are locked into 3rd in the division, and they already know they’re playing the Sharks in the first round. This is the 2nd night in a back to back. Hmmmm, for some reason, I’m not holding out a ton of hope that this is going to be a barn burner. They might come out looking to be (sp)Oilers, but either way, win or lose, the Kings are going to be fine.

Well, as long as no one gets injured. Excuse me while I knock on every wood object in my vicinity.
